Rimah is a Partner and the Team Leader Banking, Financial Services and Real Estate Practice at the Firm. She is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree from the University of Nairobi and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law. She has also studied accounting at Strathmore University.
A rising star in banking and finance law, she specialises in banking and financial services practice, including Islamic finance as well as conveyancing and real estate. She also handles commercial leases and succession and family law matters.
Rimah, who previously worked at Deacons Kenya Limited, Gulf African Bank Limited and KN Law LLP, has successfully represented clients in complex banking and real estate transactions; managed sales in large development projects; advised clients on land use and planning, including amalgamation, sub- division and change of use of land; represented financial institutions in perfection of securities; conducted legal due diligence; represented either the acquired or the target companies in mergers and acquisitions; and conducted legal audits and governance audits of corporations.
